Sky 80/20 Service

Just called Sky to apply for 80/20 service. Was told that it is not available until June. I am not a current Sky BB customer. Rumours were that this product is now available to new users? Thoughts?

No two people at Sky give the same answer regarding Fibre, called back and try again smile

Some Sky LLU exchanges don't have the pre-requisite hardware/capacity/links to do 80/20 yet, or even 40/2

Also Sky LLU footprint does not totally match the Openreach FTTC footprint

I was considering both Sky and BT for 80/20.
I was concerned when I spoke to Sky and they asked whether I really needed the extra speed.
It appears to be more expensive than BT too if available.

I'm getting fitted on wed with the 40/2 service

guess my exchange has the right gear.
