Elland HX4 9EH - FTTC available?

Hi

I see Elland is due to have its exchange upgraded June 2012. Can anyone advise me whether I am likely to be able to order FTTC on that date please?

June 30th is just a holding date, the next holding date is another 3 months when your cab goes live you will be able to order a FTTC service.

Your postcode returns two entries from the Dec 2011 spreadsheet

4% of the lines on your postcode go to cabinet 23 and the majority 95% go to cabinet 8, both are planned to recieve a FTTC cabinet in phase 8a, the 1% missing is a rounding error.

Is your phone line with BT, if so enter it into the bt asdl wholesale checker and it should show if their is a date for FTTC.

Any idea where I can find out when my cabinet will be enabled?

The date shown for FTTC is 1 June from SamKnows (coudn't find any information on BT wholesale unless I was trying the wrong URL). However, can't order it yest from my ISP Zen Internet

No date when the cab will be ready, samknows goes more on the exchange live date- though that can be wrong.

FTTC generally goes live with the first 10 cabinets, then more will follow on, the BT asdl wholesale checker is usually the most accurate way of knowing.
If you can find your cabinet and keep any eye on the roadworks- roadworks.org if it covers your area will say for any work happening.

Can possibly try some isp's but they will either give a rough date or say its not available yet.
