Our house has separate upstairs and downstairs rings in the CU so I suspect this to be the cause. 45M is just about fast enough. I don't have a wireless N device to try it with, see if it goes faster.

I'll try a wired laptop in there later, see if that helps.

Looks good - external speed tests indicate 20-24mb so far...

Wired or wireless? Mine limits around 24Mbps on wireless (G at 54Mbps, not N) - even with an 80/20 sync.

I've also seen limitations wth XP compared with Windows 7; the browser used can make a dfference too.

Anyone on p10 (or, I guess other Pegswood cab) have an outage today?

I came back home to find the internets DOWN

Only had the thing a few days. Seems to be back now, but no way of telling what happened.

I've been connected today along with 1 other that I know of.
On P10 so maybe the guy had to switch it off for a while to connect us.
Seems plausible.

Getting half what my SKY router says I should.

Off to the SKY forums for me...

Hi dave have you tried different speed checkers as I have roughly the same results (21 Mbps download) as you using the thinkbroadband speed checker .
With others I'm getting close to 38 Mbps download.
I'm with sky too.
I'll refer you to this.
