VDSL router with IPv6 support

Hi all, any suggestions for a router I can directly connect to the VDSL socket that supports IPv6. I've got a Draytek Vigor 2850n which doesn't work properly with IPv6 (latest 3.62 firmware loaded). Stats via SNMP would be nice but not essential...

I expect the Cisco 887VA would, though I haven't got an IPv6 from BT Business to try on it, instead I'm using tunnelbroker on my computer to get a static IPv6.

Indeed The 887VA is certainly IPv6 capable although the Zen connection here isn't yet.

It may not be the easiest to configure though, nor the cheapest!

Apparently Fritzbox 7390 routers work on VDSL with IPv6 too;

Fritz!Box 7390 working fine here on its internal VDSL2 modem with IPv4 & IPv6.

Latest firmware solves a widely discussed issue with CLI on the POTS functions for me at least, so functionally all OK. On the negative side, wireless speeds seem slow.

The Draytek runs like a bag of [censored] using the inbuilt VDSL modem. I have version 3.6.2 emailed from Draytek, but still the Openreach modem is far better.

Another vote for the Fritz!Box 7390. FTTC and IPv6 set up are a breeze. IPv6 has 3 options: Always use Native IPv4; Always use Native IPv6 or Always use tunnel protocol for IPv6. Tick the box and it is as easy as that. Only downsides with this particular box are occasional DECT 'ghost' calls and intermittent DECT CLI.

Currently I have attainable rates of 98/32 on a 80/20 FTTC connection. Best price for the Fritz!Box 7390 is 189 Euros with free postage from a supplier in France.

Maybe Draytek should change their marketing to "Almost IPv6 ready"

If you do find yourself having to configure a Cisco you will probably need an old-fashioned DB9 serial port on your computer or a USB to serial adapter.

Older Cisco routers have a built-in web interface called SDM for configuration and the current ones have an improved web interface - Cisco Configuration Professional. I haven't used these so cannot comment on how easy they are.
