Maiden post.
Our internet speed is less than 1mbps so was pleased to get notification from BT re availability of Infinity in March. Called Customer Services who said would be within 6 weeks and said that "line test"? showed speed would be around 38mbps.
Since then I have been told we are unable to get Infinity but BT can't/won't tell me why.
We live in a new build property (May 2010) and had terrible trouble getting connected when we moved in. I believe we were told the cabinet was full and we are connected directly to the exchange.
Could someone tell me what this actually means and the implications for getting a decent connection speed?
Any help would be appreciated. My postcode is RG41 5DF
