Does that include the new Sky SVBN network or just the legacy Easynet network?
Their agreement is with Sky for the use of their network, so I assume all their network assets including SVBN can be utilised. It would be quite limiting for them if this isn't the case. I'm not even sure the legacy Easynet equipment would be suitable for the VDSL2 service they offer.
That's what I was thinking - given many areas with Sky LLU (ie, easynet) connectivity don't offer FTTC, but areas with SVBN do offer FTTC. I'd assumed that the newer SVBN equipment allowed for the GEA connectivity, along with voice.
Given the amount of money Sky has invested in the network its probably not fair to call it the Easynet network anymore, its the "former easynet network - massively improved".
