FTTP on demand trial - Edinburgh Waverely

Any news on this? I'm about to move flat (still on this exchange though) and am weighing up my options for broadband. Sky Fibre seems the most appealing, but if the on demand trial is likely to be free and/or just run by BT, I may go for infinity.

Is it likely to be free (or low cost) for the pilot phases?

I know they have live uses in St Agnes, as visited one.

It is common for there to be discounts during trials, I doubt it is free, but you might get away with paying not any more than usual install fee.

Enquire with your provider of choice, and see how they respond, as they may be interested in extra users on the trial.

I *suspect* that the trial will be for single dwellings only, a block of flats would require it's own DP.

There isn't really any single dwellings on this exchange. It's all tenement buildings. Apart from a few multi-million townhouses, but there's only a handful of them left these days.
