I'm of the understanding that Openreach have commence a major deployment of fibre broadband in Milton Keynes to complete work started in 2010.
The current previously announced deployment includes 11,000 premises for FTTP.and further 5,000 for FTTC. The deployment now also seems to include a further unknown number of premises for FTTC - mainly in new build areas of the town.
It is believed Openreach intend to completed all work by April 2013 and will bring near ubiquitous NGA access to the town. With the advent of FTTP on demand 330Mbps fibre broadband should be available right across urban Milton Keynes.
