Is cab 49, on the Ellesmere port exchange.
As your estate is a new build its very likely that it was never planned in the inital rollout by Openreach, they do return and do infill on cabinets not in the inital rollout- which last for a good few months after the exchange and the first few cabinets have gone live.
I have looked on Cheshire West roadworks and their is nothing BT retalted to your cabinet, so its going to be 2013 till anything will happen.

Hi your postcode via the coolweb fibre checker that uses the December 2011 spreadsheet, comes back with your postcode connected to cabinet 4 on the Wembley exchange.
Your postcode area was planned to have FTTP, though this could have changed to FTTC.
This is your pcp- Cab 4, is their a second green cabinet next to it, as you could have FTTC installed instead.

What does the below checker say for your line if you are on BT- if non BT line then use the address checker, please post back the results minus your number.
https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html
Also their is the email for Openreach, this can take up to 10 days for a reponse and they will only reply if your exchange is in the rollout plan.

Hey,
Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately no 2nd green cabinet.
BT Wholesale checker says only ADSL2+ avaliable which I am currently on.

Well still likely down for FTTP then though this could not be till 2014, if you email openreach with the email above they should be able to provide you with a update as to what is happening.

BT Have pushed the exchange out to 31st March 2013 now.

The exchange? Or do you mean the cabinet?
Thanks for the email address. I've sent them a message. Hopefully they get back to me soon.

hi guys, am up visiting my fokes in scotland. i am wondering if anyone could tell me if and when they might get fibre thanks, postcode is ky74ds

I don't think you'll get a better answer than those given above (ie to try the BT Wholesale checker, or to send an email to the Openreaach enquiry address).
Using the Openreach where-and-when map shows that postcode to be located between two exchanges - one FE, due sometime in 2013 and one NC, not being upgraded. You probably need to try to identify which exchange applies. I suspect the FE one.

Phone number into here should give the exchange, and possibly FTTC information.
