who connects cable, from ISP to BTs fibre racks

who connects cables(links them in for fibre), from ISP hardware to BTs fibre racks?

Just curious if ISP has there own guys go to exchange to do it, or would that not be allowed?


Although my cab has been live early Dec, My ISP say they wont be ready to offer until 1st Feb 2013 lol

And that date is not guaranteed

The cable is ordered off of Openreach, so it will be openreach staff who connect their cable to designated fibre port that the LLU provider tells them to connect it to

thanks fro reply, would LLU provider, need to do any other additional work with there owns guys at the exchange?

Possibly more work, depends on what they have done previously, and they may want to order bandwidth upgrades so it has to be a very open ended answer.
