I just spotted this on the Openreach site.
It may be of interest to those looking for even more speed!
NGA005/13 Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) 220/20 Mbit/s pilot announcement
"As previously highlighted in NGA032/12, a GEA-FTTP pilot will run from 1 March 2013 to 31 May 2013 and will be available to order in all parts of the UK GEA FTTP enabled footprint.
This new GEA-FTTP product variant under pilot offers downstream speeds of 220Mbit/s and upstream speeds of 20Mbit/s. This product will be available during the Pilot at locations within the current FTTP enabled areas.
During the pilot, Openreach will not be charging for the product rental. Any other charges (for example connection, managed install, missed appointments) will continue to be charged as per the published pricing for GEA-FTTP.
The charges for this product are currently being finalised and will be released closer to the launch date, subject to the successful conclusion of the Pilot.
If you wish to take part in the Pilot, you will need to be an established NGA CP, have cable link connectivity in the relevant exchange area, and you will need to sign up to the Openreach Pilot terms and conditions for this product"
