Engineer phoned this morning he was at the street cabinet switching over to FTTC cabinet took about 20 minutes and arrived at my home carried out a few tests on the line then installed the modem.
He said its set at 80/20.
1st speed test 73mb download and 16mb upload but download does vary between 60-74 guess it will take a few days to settle in.
On newsgroups i was getting 9350kb/s using 20 threads on download.
All in all pleased so far with the fast speeds.
