After a long painful wait. As of 8th May my cab - PCP132 (Manchester Blackfriars) has now been connected up to a power feed. Hoping that OpenReach were about to finalise the cab (doing the power certification tests) in order to sign it off Ready for Service (fibre and copper work completed long ago!) OpenReach now advise that they have discovered a high earth reading on the cab and remedial works are required. Basically the fibre cab has a bad earth! Dodgy connection to the earth rod/plate or not grounded properly?
Has anyone heard of earth issues on fibre cabs after being fitted out with a power supply before? Probably going to have to wait another 6 months before this is rectified!
