Depends a lot on how many cabinets the few thousand customers are spread out across, as its more the numbers per cab within a reasonable distance than exchange size per se
I note with some dismay that Tynecastle Park is not a listed building or in a conservation area.

This is my exchange (and several of my clients), so this is a question I have been asking for some time.
I suspect it's because there are a lot of businesses in the area - BT are milking them for all they can before installing FTTC.
I'm stuck with ADSL on Rose Street, because Virgin refuse to install cable along there.
