Sky is "special" when it comes to router authentication on FTTC, most routers do not send the requisite DHCP option. So be careful.

That is my set-up, works perfectly on SKY FTTC......

Perfect, slightly better than my 'spare' Billion 7800 DXL....... Go for the Extreme you won't be disappointed (Looks nice too).

How do you connect the airport to the modem, given the odd username and password that Sky use?

... and the Billion 7800DX and DXL models, the 8200N, also a couple of the new Draytek's do as well and not forgetting anything that can run DD-WRT and pfSense.
