Fibre - conflicting reports

Good news. However currently on my 0.75mbs adsl connection I am connected to a different exchange called Craddock (not greenham). Could it be that for PSTN I am on one exchange (craddock) and one exchange for fibre (greenham cab 7).

Is there a definite way I can check which I am served by, I even don't mind calling BT but just worried that it will be difficult to explain if I don't get through to UK support.

Did you read the text below the result? If you can specify a telephone number you should get a more accurate answer.

Your postcode is on the boundary of two exchanges I think, but is connected to craddock cab 4 (based on postcode) but need to check with a telephone number or full address to be sure.

The CDS data is far from perfect and does not reflect overlaps

Telephone number into https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html is best method to check cabinet.
Full address if the number is not recognised is reasonable.

There is a small 2% chance that as you are on a border of two exchanges. they may reengineer line to use a greenham cab 7.

The postcodes CDS list as using Greenham cab 7 are:

You appear to be equidistant from both cab 7 (greenham) and cab 4 (craddock)

The phone number still says Craddock cab 4.

In which case ignore the CDS checker, did point out issue of overlapping areas when they released data but got nowhere

to summarise..

Ignoring the connecting devon somerset (CDS ) checker it looks like I am still on the Craddock exchange for fibre unless a miracle happens and they reengineer the line to use Greenham 7.

Is that about right? I suppose contacting them and requesting a reeningineer is futile?
