Re: Openreach contact details for FTTC Info?

Try phoning the council and seeing if you can speak to them.

There's a big discrepancy in how proactive the different BDUK councils/teams are across the UK. Some give you next to no info, others give you day by day updates.

Hi Andy,

Hoping you can help me

Ive tried calling the council about mine and they say its been done over a year ago. Openreach have it listed as accepting orders but all providers say its not available and no date as to when it will be. Im going round in circles frown Any suggestions?

At the moment we only have talktalk or BT and average speeds of 1Mb

Exchange: WNCHR
Cabinet: 6 (I believe)
POstcode: ch3 6eg

Easy one - you are too far from the cabinet that is located near CH3 7QP

Around 2km in a straight line it looks like. They don't offer it on such long lines, because there is no point.

Isnt that the Exchange?

The cabinet seems to be much closer to my house, about 600m

This is the old cabinet (at least I believed it was);

I could be wrong, but I am not too sure that's a phone cabinet?

Agreed that the cab the user thinks is theirs is NOT an openreach cabinet
