FTTC Activation Date Information

I have received flyer's for fibre through the door and seen signs around the local area however when i do a check on my address it says it is unavailable for my house. I have checked other streets near me and they are able to get it.

The street is a fairly new build and i am wondering if BT are not going to activate it or it has somehow been missed/delayed.

Anyway does anyone know what is the best process to find out dates for the cabinet to be upgraded?

Speaking to BT directly or Sky (my current provider) i just get told it is not available and they do not know when it will be activated. I suppose i could always just ask a Openreach engineer if i see them in the area again.

What exchange and what cabinet? Is it the same cabinet as those who can order?

It is the Helsby exchange. How do i find out the cabinet i am connected too?

I think we are on a different cabinet to the people who are able to order as this estate is slightly out of the way of the other streets, if that makes sense.

Try putting your full address into this checker. (Do not use the Postcode Only option!)

Above the table of estimates should be your cabinet number.

No ready for service date yet, but looks to be on the lists for the Cheshire BDUK project - of course those are subject to change.

Thanks I googled BDUK Cheshire and have found some more information about the project. I suppose that means i will just have to carry on waiting?
