Workmen have been in my village for the past week fitting the fiber cabs from what i can see all the cabs have been fitted now so how long does it take for them to be turned on ect ect .
Theres no noises coming from them yet . thanks

Mine was 18 months original date was November 2012 my cab went live 2 weeks ago.

Mine (PCP132 - MRBLA) brought to stand in April 2012, fibre link installed summer 2013, power feed/earth rod - May 2014, cab went live beginning of June 2014 (03/06/14.) FTTC installed on 11/06. Waited over 2 years!

Mine was waited for over 13 months before my order went LIVE last February.

From building the cab to being enabled, mine took 5 months

Mine was put back from September to December according to the checker. Groundwork started last week in November and went live out of the blue mid January.

Are these commercial rollouts, or BDUK rollouts?
I'm wondering if the focus is shifting to BDUK (less for BT to pay), with the commercial rollout suffering as a result?
(Can't complain, I'm waiting for BDUK enablement).

Spoke to a bloke at the cab this morning he says its all running on time and turn on will be on the 30th ... lets hope theres no problems

As far as I know the commercial rollout ended in March although there is still outstanding work to be completed.
On my exchange there are 5 cabs that I know of that are part of the commercial rollout that have been delayed for one reason or another. These should be up and running by the end of the year.

What does BT Checker telephone number say hotdogz?
Hope it will go live 30th June for you but my cabinet was stood up and running Dec 2013 and went LIVE for order in Feb 2014.

openreach were working at the cab yesterday so i was told .
Today when i walked past the silver lock was fitted to the cab .
hopefully not to long to wait now .

Strange to say this but all new FTTC cab does already have security lock to the door.
