Cabinet help - Cardiff

I am on the Pentyrch Exchange served by Cabinet 10. A new cabinet has been installed outside my house just opposite the old cabinet and I spoke to engineers about 3 months ago who said it needed some testing and should be live in a few weeks. The Pentyrch exchange is now AO according to Superfast Cymru, but BT DSL checker does not show any FTTC for Cabinet 10.

When I listen to the new Cab itself, I cant hear any power going to it, so not convinced what the engineer said about being nearly ready (sure enough 3 months later there is still no sign of it being live).

Anyone help as to what work might be left on this Cab?

Not to paraphrase you, but if there's no humming noise, then likely now power - so power is probably the issue. Doesn't mean that there couldn't be other issues as well.

At least you have a cab stood up - still waiting here!

Personally, I don't think it is . I reckon there was a problem identified with the cabinet and it has been left un-powered as a result.
