Any Info about FTTC/H Cabinet 1 Ticknall South-Derbyshire uk

I'M trying to find any idea of when / if we are getting FTTC or FTTH/P to Cabinet 1 Ticknall SouthDerbyshire.

No info on openreach or BT or Derbyshire CC web site, or my ISP.

Any inside info would be great (send a PM if you want ).

I will keep my eye's on the PCP.

I have even looked into getting a fibre link put in the village like 'BARN' did as we have a major fibre way half mile from the village but there is no dark fibre in it.
At least I would have had 1GB up/down speeds not the cr** speeds that FTTC are going to give.

Good News we now have a new DSLAM cabinet next to the PCP and the mains power has gone in today .
Not sure if the fibre's in yet from the exchange.

The cabinet is very quite today.

Will they only power it up if the fibre has been put it ?.

Hopefully someone will be along with an answer for you soon. I'm in the same situation; cab stood, power there, and no noise (or FTTC checker results!)

Frustrating as I could follow the roadworks and the actual build, so now I have nothing to follow apart from the checker.

RFS date is set for Dec-14, but hoping it'll be sooner. (SMLN Cab 2)

They put the Fibre cabinet to PCP 'Tie cables' in, but the fibre from the exchange is not in yet or the batteries.

This thread has gone quiet. What happened? Is it all done and dusted? What speeds are you now getting in Ticknall?
