openreach site says no still for fiber BUT

openreach site says no still for fiber but when i look on bt and plusnet it says yes.
has the cab now been turned on 4 days early ? postcode sy66qz

Openeach says yes if you use their Broadband Availability Checker Use the Address checker, NOT the Postcode checker, enter the postcode and then select your address.

For example. 1 Crossbank shows FTTC available (Clear 34.8-25.8, Impacted 27.3-13.6).

cheers my address says FTTC available (Clear 28.6-.6.6, Impacted 22.4-6).
atm im on adsl2 and getting 11.3mb

i will have to wait till next week so ive been told by bt . as my new adsl order will be going live on monday and i have to wait 2 days for the ticket to close down ,
at last will be free from coms.com.

I can only assume you didn't read the rest of the thread before replying. Also the address checker is just as effective as the phone number checker, even more so if the user has a full LLU phone line where the number checker will show nothing.
