New capacity / 2nd cabinet dates - placeholders?

Our unviable area appears to have filled up its' first Huawei 288.

The availability checker is claiming that there will be capacity again by 30th July. I suspect this is a placeholder date as I'm 90% sure that an entirely new cabinet is required to provide further capacity.

Confirm / deny re: placeholders anyone?

It most likely wasn't commissioned with a full complement of cards (probably enough for 96 lines maybe) so that will be the date by when extra card(s)/tie-ins will be installed.

Don't think cab was due to be stood until September, could be done sooner though.

It was commissioned with 48 ports, a single card, which sold out the day it went live. As did the second card installed the following week.

3rd and 4th lasted another 2 months, 5th and I guess 6th another 3.

Okay confirmed that that date is a placeholder, in a similar manner to other 'capacity' relief dates.

I might be wrong, but I think the swept-tee's are only any good if there is also a draw rope running through it.

The current Openreach requirements ask for both a draw rope for the copper and pre-installed blown-fibre tubing running from the joint box to each home.

For greenfield perhaps, not likely to be found in brownfield.

That said Openreach have been up to something around here, probably business as usual, a guy opened the 4 inspection covers around here and was up to something, be it just looking or working.
