Cab installed & connected to the mains. So...

Why can't I order FTTC?

So the new cab I am due to be connected to was installed back in May and then works began/finished began down the road at the start of last month to connect it to the mains. Is there any reason I shouldn't be able to order FTTC at this point? It's kinda frustrating trying to watch events when things stutter uncontrollably.

I'm connected to Cab 45 on Arrowebrook just encase someone is able to look in to it for me.

I think they put them under test for up to six months before they make it available.

Not sure if that is correct? my exchange the first cab went up last December and was live in January.

If you listen close to the vents, are the fans running?

Testing is a few weeks at most, longer delays are normally down to power issues or fibre connection to the spine.

Must have miss-read it then. It did sound like a lot of testing!

could be weeks, months or year!

Power may be on but fibre link may not be live e.g. Waiting for duct to be cleared in the middle of a busy road

Mine didn't go live until 2 and half months later. It looks like testing are still ongoing.
