No FTTC in flats despite available in postcode.

I'm moving from the Isle of Wight to London.

I currently enjoy 80/20 FTTC.

Where I'm going in Stratford High Street says max 11mbps adsl.

According to postcode only check, FTTC is available. But if I select an address in the block of flats, it is not.

How do I figure out why? I emailed the old nga enquiries as i have before and it bounced.

Any ideas how I find out?

I wonder if the whole [censored] block is EO frown

whats was there beofre thre blok of flats was a factory or an office or is a conversion

I am unsure. The flats were new build in 2009.

http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/ (edit), click address check.

Put the address in. If no cabinet is showing, it will generally be EO.

The building might have it's own distribution unit.

Maybe the flats are connected to a different CAB to the rest of the road, e.g. An old CAB, or maybe an exchange only line.

Have you checked the BT ADSL checker to see what CABs are connected for various addresses? Address is much more reliable than postcode. Phone is even better, but doubt you'll know the number!

CAB not FTTC enabled, not part of the 66% commercial plan. Not rural - no BDUK funding

Address FLAT XX, THOMAS FRYE COURT, 30 HIGH STREET, STRATFORD, LONDON, E15 2PS on Exchange STRATFORD

Who offers Annex M on LLU these days?

Not too bad a speed, but not likely to get fibre for a while.

Maybe FTTP in the future, or maybe they'll put In a new CAB if there's enough properties on EO lines in the area.

It looks to me as if it's direct to the exchange. Whenever I look up the area I never see any cabinet info, checking other addresses in the same way always brings up a cabinet number. It's possible the cabinet near to you was at capacity when the flats were built so the flat was made exchange only.
