True, but are you certain that the lines supplied by that pole are definitely connected to the PCP in question?
Perhaps your own line is from that pole, but if not, if you know the phone number of someone who is connected to the pole you could enter said number into the line checker to confirm the cabinet number.
Unless it's for those that can't achieve decent speeds due to the distance.
There has to be a boundary somewhere between the FTTC and FTTP areas, and although I've seen both halves of a semi-detached house split between FTTC and FTTP, they were fed from different poles.
I don't think FTTPoD is made available until after FTTC is enabled on a cabinet (BICBW), but that would be another possibility if someone had placed an order for FTTPoD.
