Big speed increase moving from PN to BT - any thoughts why ?

Just moved from Plusnet to BT. Original install was around 32 but went down to 12-14 (even after several OR visits !!).

Now getting 27-28 with BT Infinity. All that I changed was the router/modem to a Homehub 5 - no engineer visit.

Any thoughts on why ? Have not changed anything else whatsoever

Maybe your DLM has been reset, could slow down in a few days.

Did you ever check the BT IP Profile when with Plusnet? Then compare it with the Plusnet Current line speed?

It could be that line speed. or it could be the modem or router. Easy enough to check if it was them.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 56.6/14.1Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

I thought from ISP to other ISP will not going to change your speed improvement?
