Having seen the discussion about embedded devices and the Shellshock Bash vulnerability I thought it would be worth asking the question of whether the BT Openreach Fibre modems many of us have in our homes are in any way vulnerable?
Presumably they have remote management console, which presumably runs Busybox/Bash. I'll be updating my router as soon as possible anyway (and already have updated my own Linux boxes) but the BT modem is out of our control as far as I can tell.
I tried to find a BT Openreach Twitter account to ask but found nothing.
