Getting really annoyed with this now. Original date for cabinet was Dec 2012 then June 2013 and kept changing. Then March 2014, June, Sept, and now its changed to March 2015.
OMG, ive seen Openreach guys at the cabinets since March , laying cables, digging up roads, getting power, etc etc etc.

Mid-2011 and counting here. As far as I can see they've long since given up and moved on, but still permanently claim it's 3 months away.
I did query with OpenReach as to the delay. Collapsed duct that required planning apparently. Checked a few months later and still the same status, but only this time they blamed it on the council. Checked with the council and they haven't received any application for said roadworks. FTTC rollout in Huddersfield has been dead since the first cabinets went live.
The BT DSL checker has actually removed the date for the majority of outstanding cabinets.
Plenty of us in the same boat with these delays. A couple of delays you can probably accept. Continious delays IMO point to bad management, no matter how complex the project.
There's only one of the original cabinets on Bannockburn that is still down to be upgraded, and is now in the state of "Activating" which means it is almost there.
The only oddity is that it is labelled as being part of phase 15, which likely puts it into a very late part of the project - later than 2014.
All the cabinets that were originally upgraded, 2012-13, were part of phase 8a. All the rest were added in 2014 as part of BDUK in phase 12a.
There is one new cabinet being added too - that is converting some EO lines, and is a very recent inclusion into phase 2 of BDUK. Phase 17a.
If yours was originally put in place amongst the 2012-13 batch, but is now labelled "phase 15", it seems likely to have been dropped from the project and re-instated later.
