Hi,
This week I migrated to FTTC. The cabinet is 200 metres away and low-contention, the BTO engineer stated that I had a full 40 / 10 sync ( that being the product I selected ).
I understand that DLM can be quite aggressive but does it seem right that I'm starting with 10 / 1 throughput, per various spee dtesters including the BTW one?
That's just the same as my ADSL throughput. Very disappointing as the prospect of a 10 Mbps uplink is why I migrated.
I had thought that FTTC profiling started at the max and then worked its way down on errors? TBB monitoring chart shows a little bit of 'red blood' loss but still much better than ADSL.
Thanks!
