FTTC Snodland - Cabinet 15

Hi all,

Is my local cabinet, Cabinet 15, likely to be the last one enabled under the commercial roll out ????

Just noticed that it has been put back AGAIN, to 30 September 2015, this is 3 years after Openreach actually dug a hole in the pavement to put the fibre cabinet in, then refilled it a couple of days later.

Does anyone have any info as to why it is taking so long ?? I feel as if i'm being teased, especially as the rest of the Lower Halling has been fibre enabled now for over a year.

If it was just a date that was being put back every nine months, then it wouldn't be to bad, but Openreach had dug a hole in the pavement, that's the teasing bit !!!!

Well, just have to wait until after my summer holiday, hopefully it might be put in by then !!!

Missed that bit. Could be planning issues, or utilities weren't where they thought they were, or maybe just clearing some ducting.

I feel your pain though. Even when my FTTC cab was stood, it was a long (3 month) wait, watching roadworks.org, and hounding the local BDUK scheme on twitter.
