Castle Rising (EACAR) exchange upgrade?

Hi,

Bit confused about what is going on regarding my exchange and was wondering if anyone could help?
BT's site says that we are still 'Exploring Solutions' and the Better Broadband for Norfolk site says that we are still a 'Future Phase' however works appears to have started in the main cabinet.
Roadworks.org shows this:

Am I jumping the gun by assuming this is fibre works or is it common for BT & BBfN sites to be out of date?

Normal cabinets do not need power, so yes this will be for a fibre twin.

With the rate of roll-out not unusual for things to change or sites to be a little behind. For BDUK cabinets it is common for them to not appear on public Openreach stuff until live

The new cabinet has been installed today so you were spot on.

My friend has said it took 5 months between the cabinet and being able to order. Does this seem an average time to wait?

Not unusual, could be a few weeks, could be five months.

roadworks.org is a good place to track things like duct clearing on the fibre backhaul route from the cabinet.
