Anyway, currently connected to the Caerwys exchange, which went live for Fibre last month. BT ADSL checker shows me connected to CAB 1, which is not yet enabled. I believe I'm on an EO line.
Have contacted Superfast-Cymru to ask when/if I will be included in the rollout, and if it would be FTTC, FTTP, or the staying with the current ADSL. Unfortunately I have only received the stock non-committal response about 'exploring solutions for future deployments'.
The reason I'm asking if it might be FTTC or FTTP is that there is a new'ish telegraph pole outside my property with nothing currently connected to it (current line comes from a nearby pole). Pole was installed July 2014 by BT according to the notice pinned to it, and there's a handy looking tube/duct at the base with a cap on it
Does anyone have more info as to what's likely to be deployed, or not, and if so what the timescales are?
Cheers
Andy
