My fibre estimate was

I've already had an OR faults guy out on saturday, the line is free of faults but he said at 800m (by road and the line follows it overhead) its 60/20. I'm about 120m from the DP.
Its a BDUK install and given the location of the cab there are more properties further away from the cab than near to it. It may appear in the bduk dish out part 2 but i'm not sure.
Obviously either the estimates were way off (but tbb got similar speed estimate) then theres a section of bad cabling.
My questions are: if its before the DP will others be affected?
What can i do now ?

31dB attenuation suggests a line that is longer than 1.5km (if my brain has absorbed the coffee)
Speeds you are getting are in line with the attenuation, so if physical is a lot shorter then suggests a major problem, one presumes that the telephone is working?

the telephone works.
Only the d1 and u0 (some of u1) is active.
the guy tested the line at 600m from the cab and it was doing 60/20 and i'm by road a further 800 so ..
I was doing 46.5 db @ 7mbits down/1mbits up (on adsl2) till either dlm or banding killed it down to 4mbits in october!
If you need the bitloading graphs from the unlocked hg612 i can upload them!

That suggests you are 1.4 km away
Your current sync at 11.7 is actually within the forecast impacted range which suggest 10.4

it is now probably in range, as the hg612 may have helped. but it would indicate there is a problem(probably bad cabling) between the 60/20 reading and me..
As this is a BDUK install there are some channels of communication available to me, if others are affected then theres reason to pester, otherwise i have to suck it and smile!

If it really is 800m from where the 60/20 reading was taken to your location then you may be at the low end but there may not be a fault. How much of the run is overhead? Are they dedicated poles or shared with power and what sort of premises do they pass?

He tested at 600m from the cab not 800, i'm 800m further away. The pillar as he called it, where he got this reading, was by another road which he named and that is in a straight line to the cab.
The cables are overhead and travel beside the road I don't know if its 100% overhead to the cable or at which pole it actually heads underground. Its a small hamlet part of a bigger village.
Dedicated/shared poles ? can you explain further please?

So, you agree the line length is 1400m.
Shared poles - in rural locations the poles can have both power and telephone running between them which can make it worse especially if there are supply transformers too. Also, overhead lines are more susceptible to noise.

Some of the poles have power for (telephone) equipment but otherwise its telephone only ..
