Need help understanding BT''s fibre cabinet information

Hi everyone,

Could someone p,ease explain why when I go onto BT's infinity fibre checker after I enter my postcode it gives me the green EA saying my exchange is fibre enabled but my cabinet is not

However when. I look further into it it's showing my cabinet name is THBK and that it is FTTC &FOD enabled

Could someone please tell me why I am unable to order fibre?

My address is RG12 9FH and phone number 01344 53XXXX

Would appreciate any advice you can give me

THBK is an exchange name, Bracknell to be exact.

Cabinet 43 lines up with your postcode with an estimated ready date of 30th June 2015 (or thereabouts)

Are the ETA's usually accurate? or is it common for them to be months later than what they estimate?

Depends on how many issues come up; ducting is the major issue and can affect RFS times quite dramatically. We have two cabs close together, the smaller one (the one i was connected to). took about a month and 2 weeks to come online. The other one had ducting and power issues which took a bit longer.
