Hi
Just noticed since a couple of days that my upload speed with Sky Fibre Unlimited has dropped from a typical 6 Mbps to now an average of 2 Mbps. I have to say that while noticing this I have also observed the following changes:
1. Improvement of DL Speed from 25 to 27 Mbps
2.Improved ping response from a typical 25ms to 15ms
3. Variation in Output Power (dBm) from a tipical 3.6 in Upload to now 1.9
Point number 3 seem to me the one who looks it could be the culprit although I am not sure
With degraded upload speed I have the following stats:
Max: Upstream rate = 7357 Kbps, Downstream rate = 44545 Kbps
Bearer: 0, Upstream rate = 7373 Kbps, Downstream rate = 27398 Kbps
Link Power State: L0
Mode: VDSL2 Annex B
VDSL2 Profile: Profile 17a
TPS-TC: PTM Mode(0x0)
Trellis: U:ON /D:ON
Line Status: No Defect
Training Status: Showtime
Down Up
SNR (dB): 10.7 6.0
Attn(dB): 25.4 0.0
Pwr(dBm): 11.4 1.9
With a speedtest taken before having this issue the upload speed would always show at an average of 6 Mbps where now has dropped to 2Mbps although in the router stats the uplink shows at
7373 Kbps
So to resume, what I have seen in the last couple of days was that ping response improved by dropping from 24ms to 16 ms
Download speed increase of 2 Mbps
Upload speed dropped from 6 to 2 Mbps.
Is there anything from the router stats that indicates this issue being somewhere particular?
Thanks
