Cabinet removed from Fastershire rollout

We live in the Fastershire area and our cabinet according to the postcode and number checker was originally programmed to be updated by June 2014. This subsequently slipped to December 2014. We are now informed that the Cabinet is under review and will be considered in the next funding round, presumably this means it also may not be upgraded.
The Cabinet is on the Guiting Power exchange SSGPR which has been upgraded and a new Cabinet installed at Hawling for EO lines however the old Cabinets 1 & 2 have not been upgraded. For Cabinet 1 about 55% of the lines don't meet the 2Mbps USC. Looking for any one who has also had a cabinet dropped from the Phase 1 rural rollout or has any knowledge of why our cabinet presumably after going through the engineering evaluation might be dropped???

Seems that Cabinet 3 is a bit screwed up, 8 (139 homes) of the 9 (19 homes) postcodes are on cabinet 1 but say in the database that they are for cabinet 3, maybe they are due to move over, I am not sure.

Seems so far that Cabinet 3 only has 1 postcode containing 19 homes, of which 17 can get FTTC, 1 is an EO line and 1 can only get ADSLx.

Power costs can be a common problem and with limited funding it may be they can do double the number of homes elsewhere for the same some of money, so some other people are getting lucky.

Its changes like this that are why councils have been loathe to publish too much information, because people often take any snippet of information as a promise of delivery.

Areas which have EO lines are often re-jigged a bit and some small cabinets have been bypassed in other areas, so depending on where you are getting the information you may be looking at something that is a work in progress.

I think its where they are very far from their exchange and that the cabinets are closer to the exchange than they are to the addresses.
Plus going by the average speeds that they currently get with ADSLx they probably wouldn't get that much more than what they currently get now.

As for the location I am getting the information from, its https://www.telecom-tariffs.co.uk as for EO Lines not come across that many yet, I have only checked Cabinets 1, 2 (in middle of checking) and 3, still have the EO Lines to check yet so I don't have an exact amount yet.

But yeah probably down to costs.

Some of the result counts may be lower due to there was a lot of postcodes that was down for a set cabinet but seem to be connected to another cabinet, like for example Cabinet 3 where 87.9% is really connected to Cabinet 1 and only 11.3% is really connected to cabinet 3.

A big thanks for all the information.
Spot on in in your surmise on location the majority of cases for the old Cabinet 2 and the new Cabinet 3 this is definitely the case.
I also suspect that the thought that there is not much bang for buck is correct for Cabinet 2 (at the Guiting Grange gate) the closest village (Guiting Power) is about 800m and further villages at 1900m (Kineton) and 4000m (Temple Guiting).
We had assumed that when the checkers reported a date for the upgrade the engineering would have resulted in new cabinets to give realistic FTTC distances. None of the properties in Temple Guiting (population > 280) exceed 2mbps according to the ADSL line number check.

Well P1 is Cabinet 1 and P2 is Cabinet 2, its just what is its stored in the database I guess.
It might be where its stored in the database as a sau_node as a value "{SSGPR}{P1}" for cabinet 1 for your exchange, maybe they kept the "P" not really sure.
