IP Oddity

Ok, so my IP is showing as 29.27.91.*** on my modem for some reason but I know my IP is actually 92.8.235.** and a friend can connect to my VPN on that IP and not the 29.27.91.***

so whats going on there??

Ever heard of United States Columbus Dod Network Information Center? 29.27.91.*** seems to belong to them.
