BT Infinity 2 with Billion 8800NL Line Stats

Hi guys,

I bought a Billion 8800NL so I could check the stats and figure out why my speed has dropped to mid 50Mb when it used to be low 70Mb. The lines attainable speed is showing at 71167 yet I am only connected at 56160.

Do you think DLM will ever get near my line back up to near attainable speed again? If so how long do you think it will take?

Interleaving has been applied to your line. Hence the lower connection speed.

Your profile doesn't say who your ISP is - have you asked them this question and what was the reply?

The attainable speed displayed is probably a myth - when old-style DLM intervention occurs, the value for "max attainable" tends to go up by about as much as the actual speed goes down. If DLM intervention was removed, your speed would likely go back to around 64Mbps, as would the attainable figure.

Yes, this is lower than the speed you once achieved - so you are likely to have been affected by crosstalk too.

If the ECI cabs ever get G.INP activated, then your DLM intervention is likely to change, giving you improved speeds.
