SSE Broadband (FTTC and ADSL)

Hello!

FTTC has just be made available in my area and I'm considering SSE.

Does anyone have any experience in using them? I've come across SSE Telecoms in a business environment before and found their support etc very good. Does anyone know if SSE are running these two completely separate or if SSE home is using SSE Telecoms for backhaul + transit?

I from what i have read believe they use both BTW and Talk talk or did, for their ADSL , (SMPF)

don't they tie you in to something like a 3 year contract

The contract is for 18 months after which it become a rolling monthly contract however the introductory pricing runs for 2 years.
