FTTC Activation

Hi all

1st Post.

We had openreach guys pulling fibre to our local cabinet in November last year. It's still not been activated tho.

Is there any way to check for an activation date for Cabinet 15, Stepps exchange?

Any info appreciated.

All I can fine is the following:

Enabled Area

You are connected to cabinet number 15 on served from the Glasgow Stepps exchange.

Your area is enabled for fibre but your cabinet is not ready yet so you can't place an order today. It is in our plans to be upgraded and we update this info weekly, so please check back later.

Looks like the cabinet has now been installed, but no power or fibre connected yet. Think Openreach had to wait for Taylor Wimpey to stabilise the road by the loch before they could start work. The BT conduits run along the grassy verge by the loch and I do worry when they were digging up the area about half way along the loch that they may have damaged and blocked the conduits.
