West Malling Cab 46

It's with a great fanfair that i found out that PCP46 of the West Malling exchange is being upgraded to FTTC!
About time! The estate that it feeds has been around for at least 3-5 years, OK its still being built but according to Roadworks.org, the following is happening
WEST MALLING - PCP46 - 302626 - BDUK - 10 DAY POWER AND DSLAM:STREET CABINET & POWER INSTALLATION. Excavate to lay approx 11m BT ducts, Lay concrete plinth, Stand cab. Excavate to expose low voltage cable for Power Connection and lay approx 17m duct. POWER engineer to carry out inspection prior to jointing. POWER jointing team to insert cable and execute jointing works. Reinstate, Check and clear site.

So i am guessing that once this has happened things might start to happen?
Any idea of time scales from DSLAM install to order date?

Timescales vary widely, from a few weeks to many many months.

Lets just hope its the latter not the former! as it took 3 months to get a copper line installed in the first place as BT has not installed enough copper pairs from the PCP to the doors!

Just spotted the following on Roadworks.org
WEST MALLING - PCP46 - 302626 - BDUK - Interim to permanent reinstatement

Can anyone shed any light on this?
Is this good or bad?
