Hmmm. How long since that router was disconnected and reconnected?

Very strange. I can only think it is reporting a specific sort of error which isn't the one the Openreach DLM is looking at.

Isn't it strange that the original statistics show a downstream noise margin of 6dB, but manages to give an attainable speed of 10Mbps above the actual speed.

The second set of statistics, after the resync, shows a drop in speed, and with margin to spare, and an even higher attainable figure.

The latter result (drop in speed, higher attainable) tends to happen when FEC+interleaving is turned on, but I don't think I've seen the first issue (SNRM mismatch with attainable speed, without FEC+interleaving).

I would be wondering about G.INP here, but we don't appear to have an issue on the upstream.

Thank you for the reply WWWombat

Yes it all seems pretty weird to me, no errors that show and yet the dreaded DLM has kicked in blush

DSL synchronization status: Up

Connection status:Showtime

Upstream line rate (kbit/s):19999

Downstream line rate (kbit/s):79650

Maximum upstream rate (kbit/s):31601

Maximum downstream rate (kbit/s):99240

Upstream noise safety coefficient (dB):15.2

Downstream noise safety coefficient (dB):7.5

Upstream interleave depth:1

Downstream interleave depth:5

Line standard:VDSL2

Upstream line attenuation (dB):4.5

Downstream line attenuation (dB):9.1

Upstream output power (dBm):6.8

Downstream output power (dBm):11.6

Channel type:Interleaved

DSL up-time:0 days 13 hours 33 minutes 12 seconds

DC'd other night for no apparent reason. Upon reconnecting got the stats above.

Any thoughts ? Still no errors on my internet stats, but still interleaved, I find this very confusing :<

DLM has turned on interleaving as it has counted errors on your line. That's what happens.
