FTTC anytime soon?

Been looking at getting FTTC in our vilage but BT when and where sites shows the cainet as EA, it has been like this for a few months now.

This is Cabinet 6 on Shipton U Wychwood. with postcode ox7 6qq.

Seems like the cabinet should have been placed but we have no idea or an enablement date, we have been offered 10MB Satalite/Wireless broadband from another supplier but this may be too expensive.

If anyone could help that would be great.

Cab 6 doesn't look to have been enabled yet; closer premises have no mention of fibre availability either.

It appears that 3 cabinets were enabled at the end of last year. There are still 2 cabinets to be done (including #6) that were part of the same planning phase. 2 further cabinets have been added in subsequent planning phases, and are yet to be done.

That's all with Oxford. There's one cabinet in the plans for Fastershire too.
