I have been connected for just over 2 days. When installed I was getting 40MB/s but it has been decreasing and has now hit 23MB/s. I'm trying to get BT to take a look but want a bit more info about what these stats are telling me. I would appreciate any help you can give me.

Looks like you have a long line length from the cabinet.

What is the estimate for your line given by www.dslchecker.bt.com ?

I have however just done a quiet line test and I am now getting a whining noise and some electrical sounds which I did not have before! Does those stats show potential noise?

Is noise present when vddl modem is off and unplugged from the line?

Yes, it is still present. Initially the line is quiet but as soon as the noise starts it persists.
