(issue with Port Forwarding which Is why I wish to change Routers)
I am not too sure if BT are still doing this but you might be put on Carrier Grade NAT, I know BT was running trials a while back where loads of BT Customers are all put down as using the same IP to allow for more users without running out of their IP blocks.

If I recall this broke Port Forwarding.

I think Plusnet also was trialling this too.

Should only be option 1 customers, i.e. ADSL2+ 10GB usage allowance service i.e. least likely to be using lots of things like xbox and ps

Well I think we got put on it a little while ago by mistake, I assume that due to all our port forwarding stopped working, we are using BT Broadband Unlimited, I had to do a few power downs giving 30 odd mins gap in between just to get a different IP Block that it was failing on, once we had a completely different IP it all started to work again.

I am not saying it was CGNAT causing our issues but it was a coincidence that it failed on a set of IP's either that or the HH4 was freaking out.

Basically I was running a development branch of one of our games, I was only aware when I was notified by one of our other devs stating that they couldn't see or connect to the service.
