Markings

A couple of months back I posted that markings for the Digital Scotland planned FTTC cabinet for my street had appeared on the road side verge directly opposite from the PCP. Nothing happened after this until Friday when similar markings appeared on the same side of the road as the PCP, about 15m away.

What's the most likely reason for this?

Probably marking proposed location, so someone else with a cable/utility detector can verify what is in the ground before its dug up.
