I have just replaced my HG612 with an HH5A (about to move from Plusnet back to BT). Connection stats look almost identical.
I have been using the excellent HG612 Modem Stats program for about 3 years.
Is there a recommended equivalent program for HH5A?
I have just downloaded RouterStatsHub from http://www.vwlowen.co.uk/RouterStatsHub/download.htm which seems to be doing what I need, but wondered if there were any other recommendations.

Moved from BT Infinity 2 to PlusNet. Happy so far, but soon moving back after recent PlusNet changes.

Any reason you didn't just keep the HG612 ?

The one box solution is neater and uses less power.
At the moment the HH5 appears to be giving me just as good sync as the HG612. In a few days I'll be moving for 40/20 to 40/10, and with my reasonably good line that means the modem is very unlikely to be critical.

Fair point..
I moved the other way so I could put my router under the stairs etc to integrate with network I have.
Sorry I can't help you with the stats on the HH though.

HH5a is G.INP capable but only on the downstream...

No it's not

Erm, not sure what to say because it is! and so is the ECI modem!
The HH5a got a firmware update that made it fully capable, I'm not sure about ECI modem!
Why do you think Openreach removed G.INP for upstream for but left it on downstream.

My neighbor has!
Are you a BT customer? have you been using the HH5a constantly since G.INP or have you been disconnecting it and using other hardware?

Will anyones neighbour offer any advice to the OP on other methods for getting stats on the either G.INP or non G.INP enabled HH5A ?

A friend of a neighbour tells me that the OP might find something in the Troubleshooting >> Helpdesk section of the GUI.
But he already has RouterStatsHub, so has the stats.
The indispensable man or woman passes from the scene, and what happens next is more or less the same thing as was happening before.
My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync 57584/13846kbps @ 600m. - BQM

No they wouldn't, they have no need for such information and what is listed in the helpdesk is plenty enough information.

As others have said, I believe so. I was hoping for an HH5b as I'm on a Huwei cabinet, but you don't get to choose.
I'll certainly be keeping the HG612 around for backup or in case of other problems, but for now the HH3a seems to be doing me fine.
RouterStatsHub should be fine as well, though obviously much less detail than the HG612 stats.
Thanks everyone for the replies.

RouterStatsHub gives all the stats available from the HH5A - it doesn't work with the HH5B.
You can always grow your own - http://www.s-parker.uk/2014/08/accessing-bt-home-hub...
There's also a smoothwall extension - http://community.smoothwall.org/forum/viewtopic.php?...
