On the Openreach checker it says:
"Please note that it can take two weeks after a cabinet goes live to appear as accepting orders on our map"
Does this in effect mean you could order from provider 2 weeks before it says so on the OR map? If so how do you know when you can order, do provider checkers use a different data base or are they realiant on the same data base that the OR map uses?
Cabinet has been installed outside my place of work and keen to get FTTC ordered as soon as possible. Cabinet already has power and very near to another fibre area so I think it is already hooked up. Talked to an OR chap who was working on it and he reckoned it wouldnt take long for this particular cab, just testing etc to be done.
So any way to jump in early or do you have to wait for the checkers to catch up?
