When is G.Inp activated after install?

I'm 11 days into BT Infinity 2 on a newly activated Huawei cab that has been active about 30 days.

Initially my connection synced at 72 Mb down and 20Mb up which has steadily reduced to 64Mb in the 11 days. I can only imagine its crosstalk from the other installs as I had placed my order before the cabinet was announced.

My question is when G.INP is likely to be activated as its not active on my line - does it only activate after the 10 day initial period?

A drop in sync such as you have experienced, or even more, is typical of interleaving being turned on. Why G.INP hasn't been I don't know.

And there is no 10-day initial period. A myth propagated by BT Wholesale.

You should get it soon.

My line was installed on 17 August. Interweaving (which is already on your line) was applied on the 21st followed by G.INP 2 or 3 days latter.

I think BT have some sort of batch job that runs every so often to implement G.INP on lines which need it and don't have it.

Oddly all my resyncs seem to be around 8:30am - not in the middle of the night as I might have expected!
